The APT Preparatory Group for WRC (APG) Training Workshop was held from 06 to 07 June 2014 at the Novotel Brisbane Hotel, Brisbane, Australia .  It was held back to back with the 3^rd Meeting of APT Conference Preparatory Group for WRC-15 (APG15-3) from 09 to 13 June 2014 at the Sofitel Central Brisbane Hotel, Brisbane, Australia.  The workshop was organized by the APT, hosted by the Australian Communications and Media Authority and supported by the Australian Government Department of Communications.

The APG Training Workshop was designed to assist Asia-Pacific developing countries prepare and participate in APG and other International Telecommunication Union Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) meetings. The objective of the workshop is as follows:

• Gain an appreciation of the APT preparatory process for WRCs,
• Gain an appreciation of the ITU-R Study group and WRC process,
• Obtain an overview of the objectives of the APG and ITU-R meetings,
• Develop an understanding of meeting structures, formalities and processes associated with the APG, and
• Learn how APT Member countries can improve participation and contribute to the process.
