 The 1st Meeting of the CGSP was held from 7 to 8 February 2017 at APT Headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand.

The objectives of the meeting were:

• To review the objectives of APT stipulated in the Constitution;
• To review APT members’ commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2020, ITU Strategic Plan for 2015–2018, and previous Ministerial Statements and Declarations of APT, etc.;
• To analyze current Strategic Plan for 2015-2017 and its implementation status;
• To set the principle of drafting the Strategic Plan of APT for 2018–2020; and
• To identify and prioritize the activities of APT for 3 years.
