The 6th Meeting of the APT Conference Preparatory Group for WRC-23 (APG23-6) was held from 14 to 19 August 2023 in Brisbane, Australia. The meeting was hosted by the Australian Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (DITRDCA).

APG23-6 was held with physical attendance as well as virtual/online participation through Zoom meeting platform (i.e., hybrid meeting). The objectives of APG23-6 were as follows:

1. review the results of APG23-5
2. review the outcomes of CPM23-2 and 30th meeting of the RAG
3. finalise APT views on WRC-23 Agenda Items based on input contributions from APT Members
4. develop Preliminary APT Common Proposals for WRC-23 Agenda Items
5. review issues related to RA-23 activities and develop APT views, if any
6. develop Preliminary APT Common Proposals for RA-23, if any
7. review the activities of other regional organisations, in particular, their positions and common proposals with a view to fostering inter-regional cooperation
8. arrangement of coordination for RA-23 and WRC-23

Following outcomes were developed at APG23-6:

1. Preliminary APT Common Proposals for WRC-23 Agenda items
2. Preliminary APT Common Proposals for RA-23
3. APT views on WRC-23 Agenda items and issues related to RA-23, if any
4. Arrangement of coordination for RA-23 and WRC-23

APG23-6 was the final APG meeting for the World Radiocommunication Conference 2023 (WRC-23) cycle, focusing on drafting the Preliminary APT Common Proposals (PACPs) for WRC-23 agenda items as well as on RA-23 related issues.

Venue:
APG23-6 was held at Sofitel Brisbane Central, Brisbane, Queensland Australia.

Participation:
All APT Members, Associate Members, Affiliate Members, International/Regional Organizations, and Eligible Non-Members can participate in the meeting by registering online through the APT Website.Administrations of Members and Associate Members and International/Regional Organizations are kindly requested to send the official list of delegations for the meeting and to nominate Head of Delegation (HoD) and Alternate HoD. If any APT Affiliate Member is included in the National Delegation, please clearly mention in the List of Delegation.

Participation of Non-Members: Non-Members cannot attend the meeting. Non-Member participants under national delegation are allowed once their names are included in the official list of delegation. Non-member participation from the host country, Australia, are allowed as ‘Observers’ once they are approved by the DITRDCA.

Online Registration:

Participants must register online here to attend APG23-6. Please indicate the mode of your participation at the online registration form. Since the number of physical attendances influences some preparations for the meeting venue and other arrangements, your administration/organization is kindly requested to register delegates for physical attendance preferably by the 14 July 2023. Please be mindful that any registration after 14 July 2023 may not be accepted.

Contributions for the meeting from APT Members, Associate Members, Affiliate Members, regional and International Organizations are welcome. You are requested to use the proper document template for your contribution. Please refer to ‘Information for submitting contributions to APG23-6’ for detail process of submitting the contribution. Templates for the submission of contributions are embeded in ‘Information for submitting contributions to APG23-6’ Contributions was posted on APT Website prior to the starting of the meeting. Last date of submission of contributions is 7 August 2023.
